UI & Interface Design
Animation and micro-interactions that make the experience memorable
How this works
UI design for web applications is not the same discipline as website design. The user is doing something, not reading something. The stakes of each decision are higher: a confusing navigation in a dashboard costs the user time every single session, not just on the first visit. Our UI work begins with a thorough understanding of the user tasks. What are the top five things users open this application to do? Those tasks drive every design priority. We design with data. Placeholder data is never used in dashboard design because the design decisions change entirely when you add realistic numbers, varying label lengths, and empty states. The component library approach means every element is designed once and applied consistently. We design every interaction state: loading, empty, error, success, edge cases. Everything gets specified. Handover documentation is produced to developer-ready standards, covering spacing, states, and edge case behaviour.
